On the Beginner's Guide To L. Ron Hubbard - Scientology

Hardeep Singh Kohli, Well known English actor, comedian and all round entertainer makes a humorous foray into the world of scientology.

Consumed with curiosity about Scientology and its founder, L Ron Hubbard, Hardeep originally approached the church of scientology but was soundly rejected by the Church as being too much of a comedian and evidently not serious enough.

The producer of the documentary then approached the International Freezone Association who passed him onto Rons Orgs in the scientology freezone where the documentary was eventually made.

The scientology freezone is where scientologists who are not part of the official church practice the philosophy as originally developed by the founder L. Ron Hubbard.

Hardeep's parents instilled in him the Sikh perspective that there are many roads to God so, despite widespread criticisms of the Church of Scientology, he happily attempted to investigate its beliefs.

Founded by L Ron Hubbard in the 1950s, Scientology has some high profile celebrity supporters but the church is extremely reluctant to share its secrets.

He is told that the philosophy has many layers, that it's not easy to learn but is worth persevering with because it will improve his life but he is worried about rumors that Scientology and its offshoots use brainwashing. Hardeep finds a mentor to guide him through the principles of their religion, who takes him on a long train journey to a disused children's summer camp building hidden deep in snowy Russia, where the number of followers is growing steadily. Here he received his basic training.

Hardeep reads and reads. The book is simple but bizarre. He understands each individual word, he says, but not what they mean all together. His mentor says he should keep reading. He is being prepared for 'auditing', a process of one-to-one questions and answers, while the person being 'audited' holds a device that, according to devotees, measures the body's stress.

He and his mentor also do role-plays of the one-to-one 'auditing' to see whether they can make the other person react emotionally. The questions and answers are repetitive, simple and, in this weird setting, isolated from his own world, it is starting to make sense.

The 'auditing' session arrives and Hardeep's fears of brainwashing return. Holding on to the 'e-meter', he talks about what he wants to change in his life, puts some of his fears into words, and emerges from the session feeling 'lightheaded'. Did Hardeep find God through the teachings of L Ron Hubbard. 'That would be a tall order in two weeks,' he says.

The documentary follows Hardeep's journey of discovery as he finds out the basic simplicities that scientology teaches and that it is not as the media or critics paint but is a simple and effective way of improving and enjoying one's life.

A Free CD of the documentary for private use only and not for resale is available from the IFA. Please send $5 USD to the IFA Paypal account: payments@internationalfreezone.net for the cost of packaging and shipping, and send your name and snailmail address with the words 'BG to LRH' in the subject field to: support@internationalfreezone.net.

    The International Freezone Association

The International Freezone Association (IFA) is a group of individuals, auditors and groups who believe they should be free to practice the original philosophy of Lafayette Ron Hubbard.

They feel that, since the death of the founder of the movement, the Church of Scientology™ has strayed from the original philosophy and purpose of the group.

As the members of the IFA do not wish to participate in the practice of an altered philosophy they have elected to practice their chosen philosophy independently of the 'official' organization or church.

This is a revitalization of the original technology of Lafayette Ron Hubbard!

The IFA are not in competition with the Church of Scientology™ since we practice the original philosophy and not the new 'version' currently touted by the church.

The IFA is, by demonstration, not for scientologists who belong to the church. It is for scientologists who believe in and practice the original philosophy and working technology of Lafayaette Ron Hubbard and have either:

    Left of their own accord
    Been expelled from the church

    And individuals:

Who are seeking spiritual enlightenment through the religious beliefs, and practices of scientology as expounded by Lafayette Ron Hubbard
Have no desire to be a part of the current church in it's existing state

The IFA believes that man is free to follow he or her own course, and his religious practices and beliefs are not constricted by any copyright monopoly, therefore new people wishing to seek enlightenment through the practices of scientology are not bound by law to attend only the official church any more than all christians are bound by law to attend only catholic churches.

This means that the Church of Scientology™, under the guidance and control of the 'Religous Technology Center' itself under the leadership and control of the private corporation known as the 'Church of Spiritual Technology' which promotes itself as a religion, does not have a monopoly by virtual of owning copyrights on the name of a religion, on the religious beliefs and practices of scientologists.

The church is not a commercial business, as we are led to believe, and therefore is not in 'competition' to save men's souls. it is an applied religion or philosophy and that is something which no man holds a monopoly on. Indeed as the originator of this philosophy stated,

"I know no man who has any monopoly upon the wisdom of this universe. It belongs to those who can use it to help themselves and others."

Therefore anyone has the right and the freedom to participate in the IFA and in the original working philosophy of Lafayette Ron Hubbard without let or hindrance.

The purposes of the IFA (International Freezone Association) include:

Preserve, protect and promote the exact technology and original workable philosophy of Lafayette Ron Hubbard for future use so it is available for all mankind.

Establish communication and understanding among the members of the IFA and members of other communities.

Promote and sponsor educational activities that alert and teach the general public about the exact technology and original workable philosophy of Lafayette Ron Hubbard.

Defend the IFA from any attempt to inhibit it's existence and expansion.

Assist in the defence of any of it's members in the event of any unwarranted legal process to the detriment of the member on the basis of the member(s) exercising their legal right to practice their religion or philosophy and inherent in that the technology and original workable philosophy of Lafayette Ron Hubbard.

If you would like to be a part of this exciting renaissance of Ron's technology go to application today!

    What is a Scientologist?

There has been some confusion regarding the use of the word 'scientologist' and even who constitutes being a scientologist.

The Religious Technology Center (RTC), holder of various copyrights and trademarks on behalf of the Church of Scientology it seems are attempting to monopolize the word and restrict it’s use to those people whom they consider are in good standing as members of the officially registered Church of Scientology and that anyone who is not considered by that same church as in good standing with them, regardless of the reason why, cannot call themselves a scientologist. Although they do NOT hold a trademark or copyright over the use of the word, this does not stop them attempting to blur the issue and give the apparency that the word is copyright, they call it a 'collective mark'. A dubious term at best and an outright lie at worst.

Of course one could ask the question, why would anyone want to call themselves a scientologists? Perhaps for the same reason that a Christian calls themselves a Christian or a Muslim calls themselves a Muslim or a Hindi calls themselves a Hindi or a Buddhist calls themselves a Buddhist. Because they chose to announce their faith by demonstrating what they believe in to the world.

It requires no copyright, trademark or 'thou shalt not call oneself a scientologist unless we say you can't.' It has nothing to do with any particular orthodox church. Indeed, there are established Jewish people by birth or religion that call themselves Jewish yet are not a member of any orthodox Jewish order. To call oneself an Orthodox Jew may require one to participate in the practices of the orthodox Jewish order. There is also the reform Jewish Church or movement. The Orthodox does not bring legal proceedings against the reform church because they call themselves Jewish. Perhaps we should call ourselves reform scientologists? In most of the countries of the world a person is entitled to call themselves whatever they wish in relation to their beliefs. And publicly state so as well.

Now the scientology religion has an orthodox, if you will, church. This was set up by L Ron Hubbard, the founder in order to effectively disseminate the technology and philosophy he developed. He pointed out, on several occasions and in many written issues, that in order to achieve the results of applying the technology he developed, it needs to be understood fully and applied in the exact manner he proscribed. Part of ensuring this was done was the establishment of a church to act as a custodian for the technology so that it was not altered or perverted resulting in less or no results through misunderstanding and misapplication.

Unfortunately, since the demise of Ron Hubbard, 'changes' to the technology and the application have been made that violate this principle. Some of these may be found documented at http://scientologistsfreezone.com. In fact it is said now that the 'orthodox' church intends to rewrite all of L. Ron Hubbard's work, including the original Dianetics: the Modern Science of Mental Health on the possible basis that the public are too stupid to understand it. This, if true, would be a radical and major departure from the 'original scriptures', as the church likes to call them in court. So what philosophy is the church protecting?

At this point a very brief summary of the structure of the church would be beneficial. A the top of the lucrative fiscal food chain you have Church of Spiritual Technology (CST). Contrary to the name this is not a church but a privately owned corporation.

    Corp Id Number: C1074287
    Date of Incorporation: 5/28/1982
    Registered Name:
    CHURCH OF SPIRITUAL TECHNOLOGY
    419 N LARCHMOUNT BLVD #86
    LOS ANGELES, CA 90004
    Agent for Service of Process:
    SHERMAN LENSKE
    6400 CANOGA AVE STE 315
    WOODLAND HILLS, CA 91367

The CST owns the Religious Technology Center (RTC), another privately owed business, which owns some trademarks and copyrights somehow acquired at or around the death of the Founder L. Ron Hubbard. They license these trademarks and copyrights to the Church of Scientology international who have first rights to the use of the trademarks and copyrights but legally and, if felt so disposed, could rescind this license at anytime.

So the Church of Scientology does not actually own the copyrights or trademarks it uses, but pays a private company for the right to use them. This amounts to millions of dollars per year. Being a private company no financial statements or balance sheets are issued by the CST at any time. The directors are, for the most part, NOT scientologists. Their directors fees are not disclosed and the use of the many millions of dollars obtained is not disclosed either.

    Interesting!

But what has this to do with the attempt to monopolies the word scientologist you may ask?

There are many people outside of the church who have either been booted out or have no wish to belong to the official church. In fact almost ALL of the original experienced scientologists who assisted Ron Hubbard to in building up the church and the Saint Hill organizations to their, now former glory, have all been excommunicated or, in church parlance, 'declared'. However that does not immediately mean they are no longer scientologists. Just no longer members of the official church. The two states are not synonymous.

The definition of a scientologist as per the published works of Ron Hubbard, as written by the originator of the philosophy and technology himself specifically in the book, "The Dianetics and Scientology Technical Dictionary’"by L. Ron Hubbard, published by Author Services, a name by which the RTC goes by, states:

SCIENTOLOGIST, 1. one who betters the conditions of himself and the conditions of others by using Scn technology. 2. one who controls persons, environments and situations. A Scientologist operates within the boundaries of the Auditor's Code and the Code of a Scientologist. 3. one who understands life. His technical skill is devoted to the resolution of the problems of life. 4. a specialist in spiritual and human affairs.

Looking very carefully I do not see it mentioned anywhere in that officially approved definition, that one is obliged to be an officially approved member of the Church of Scientology.

The word scientology itself does not mean, that which is owned by the Church of Scientology and that which can only be practiced by the church known as the Church of Scientology. Indeed in that very same dictionary the word is defined as , "a science of life. It is the one thing senior to life because it handles all the factors of life. It contains the data necessary to live as a free being. A reality in Scientology is a reality on life."

Indeed there is probably legal cause to object to the registration of the words 'Scientology' , 'Hubbard' and 'L. Ron Hubbard', as a generic name for a religion (which the church was keen to have established by the High Court in the USA) interestingly enough, and respectively the name L. Ron Hubbard and Hubbard is a name of an individual.

And as Ron Hubbard himself pointed out on more than one occasion:

"I know no man who has any monopoly upon the wisdom of this universe. It belongs to those who can use it to help themselves and others."

    and

"People look on this as being 'my science'. Yeah, I own all of your postulates. I bought them one day at a raffle. Like the devil I did! About the only thing, as I told you the other day, that I have done is organize and put together, and maybe I can look a little bit better than anybody else has been looking for a long time, and so I can see it. But if you can see it, well, so help me Pete, it's yours. Got that?"

From LRH tape lecture titled "Individuation".

Presuming that the RTC agree with the tenets of L. Ron Hubbard, who founded the very groups which comprises the Church of Scientology, then the Creed of the Church of Scientology should also be studiously followed, and I quote.

    "We of the Church believe:

That all men have inalienable rights to their own religious practices and their performance.

That all men have inalienable rights to conceive, choose, assist and support their own organizations, churches and governments.

And that no agency less than God has the power to suspend or set aside these rights overtly or covertly."

Of course, If the CST, the RTC and the Church of Scientology do not agree with the Creed of the Church of Scientology, or the definition of a scientologist as given in the church official list of definitions by virtue of their propensity to engage in legal frivolous suits, then of course, apart from being a church that does not follow it’s own precepts, it could be questioned on it’s stated motives for applying legal pressure for the protection of the trademark and copyrights that it does.

The copyright and trademark laws were set up for the protection of financial interests of business and corporations and it is possible that the RTC and their responsible body of directors, The CST, could conceivably be held liable for the possible accusation of misuse of copyright and trademark laws and perverting the use of the legal system. Now that would be an interesting scenario!

Of course no individual has the monopoly on the spiritual freedom of man. Anyone who deigned to consider themselves a god above all man and to maintain a tight grip on the only key to man’s spiritual freedom, paid for and released only through exorbitant financial payments, is eventually going to go the way all past religions and organizations have gone which have attempted to monopolize freedom, and will incur the same derision by man that has been incurred before.

Anyone who has made a serious study of the Koran and believes and follows the traditions of the Moslem faith is entitled to call themselves a Muslim. Anyone who has studiously studied the Bible and believes in Christ and what he stands for is entitled to call themselves a Christian. Anyone who has similarly made a study of scientology and follows and applies the traditions and practices thereof is also entitled to call themselves a scientologist. None of them are obliged by law to 'belong' to or be subservient to any official church.

Any attempt therefore to reduce ones inalienable right to their religious practice and their performance of scientology would be, at the very least, to any ethical and moral scientologist, a distasteful act, certainly not in the spirit of spiritual freedom which Ron Hubbard intended for the church or even for the spiritual freedom of this planet. There is also the question of course as to whether it is actually legal to do so constitutionally.

The majority of the original scientologists who assisted Ron Hubbard in building up the Church have been ousted since his death. Even his late wife, a tireless supporter and major assistant in developing the technology is persona non gratia. One wonders, if Ron Hubbard were alive now, whether he would be ousted as a heretic and persona non gratia along with his original adherents.

Fortunately, the International Freezone Association, along with many other free organizations, are not cowed or bound under the new regime of the official Church of Scientology. They stand upright and practice their right to call themselves whatever they wish. They believe they are entitled to call themselves scientologists. Independent scientologists. In the original meaning of the term, as per the definition cited above. And are proud to do so.

    They also believe:

That a scientologist is one who betters the conditions of himself and the conditions of others by using scientology technology.

That a scientologist is a person, whether an accepted member of the ‘official’ church or not, who practices and uses the philosophy and technology of scientology to the best of their ability.

That a scientologist is one who understands life. His technical skill is devoted to the resolution of the problems of life.

That a scientologist is a specialist in spiritual and human affairs.

And that lastly, a scientologist is not one who lives in fear of ‘what the church may do’.

Man’s spiritual freedom does not depend upon one man’s whim or a private organizations obsession for protecting financially lucrative copyrights and trademarks as being more important that mans spiritual freedom. That way spiritual freedom will simply go down the tubes.

Man’s spiritual freedom depends upon that individual who will stand up for his or her rights and be the scientologist of which Ron would be proud.

    New Section for New Scientologists!

A new section of the International Freezone has been set up for new people as an introductin to Scientology outside of the official church.

This was posted uptoday by the IFA and it is expected that more information will be added over time to help people find out more about the subject.

"This section is for people who do not want to go to the church of Scientology(tm) but still want to find out about the subject without the hype and media". Said Michael, President of the IFA.

The new section can be accessed by going to the New Section.

The New Face of the Church of Scientology(tm)

The Church of Scientology(tm) has a special department call the Department of Special Affairs known popularly as osa. This replaced the scientology Guardians Office when it fell out of favor for it's 'dirty tricks' activities.

Well the name may have changed but it seems the spots remain the same. Instances of 'dirty tricks' are now coming to light where the church, under the guidance of the new wave management, has even turned upon scientology adherents.

As well as the endless litigation and legal harassment over copyright (trick question: When has the catholic church brought legal proceedings against a catholic for calling themselves a catholic? Answer: Never!), reports suggest the dirty tricks dept are at it again. Allegedly sending in spies to independent scientology groups to cause disruption, slandering innocent scientologists by spreading false rumors about them to their bosses in an attempt to get them fired and maybe even issuing spam and other internet 'goodies'.

Is this the new face of Tom Cruise's favorite religion?

"The Church of Scientology(tm) was an expanding religion when Ron Hubbard was alive. Since his demise, however, the church seems to be steadily shrinking and the new management regime possibly blames this on the independent groups who are expanding at a rapid rate." Stated Michael of the International Freezone Association, a group of independent scientologists,

He went on, "Heaps of successful independent scientology groups have sprung up around the world dissatisfied with the church's failure to implement the original philosophy and get the results they claim, yet continuing to charge exorbitant prices. The church could quite possibly be seeing this as a major threat to their perceived monopoly."

"What would you think of a church that ignored its own creed and worked instead to stamp out small independent parishioners who's only interest is in being able to exercise their god given right to practice their religion?" He concluded.

Ron Hubbard, Founder of Scientology, once stated, "I know no man who has any monopoly upon the wisdom of this universe. It belongs to those who can use it to help themselves and others." Perhaps it is time for the church management to remember that.

What is the International Freezone Association?

Sometimes it is good to remind ourselves of the aims and reason for the IFA.

The International Freezone Association (IFA) is a group of individuals, auditors and groups who believe they should be free to practice the original philosophy of Lafayette Ron Hubbard.

They feel that, since the death of the founder of the movement, the Church of Scientology(tm) has strayed from the original philosophy and purpose of the group.

As the members of the IFA do not wish to participate in the practice of an altered philosophy they have elected to practice their chosen philosophy independently of the 'official' organisation or church.

This means that we do not invade the current practices of the Church of Scientology(tm) but demonstrably maintain the right to practice the original philosophy as distinct from the current practices. Such differences can be seen at

    scientiologistsfreezone.com
    and at
    Alterations
    Altering Tech
    Church Alterations

Also information on changes and other related matters may be found at:

Examination of Scientology Church including changes in authorship of issues.

In alignment with the above we have issued the Aims of the IFA as given below:

The Aims of Scientology and the IFA

Lafayette Ron Hubbard first issued the 'Aims of Scientology' which of course still stands. Yet, despite holding a copyright on these aims the Church of Scientology, RTC and the CST do not appear to be following these aims fully. Therefore it behoves us to take some responsibility and set out our aims, based upon the aims that Ron first envisaged as something which we can honestly strive to attain.

    We therefore stated below:

    The Aims of the IFA

To contribute towards having a sane society by the promotion, expansion and application of the technology to the point where people can live their lives in peace and security and without war or insanity and where they can honestly flourish and prosper and attain higher levels of spiritual being.

The IFA is non political in nature and welcomes any individual of any creed, race or nation.

The IFA does not seek revolution. The IFA seeks only to assist in paving the way for evolution to higher states of being for the individual and for society. After endless millennia of ignorance about himself, his mind and the universe, a breakthrough has been made for man by Lafayette Ron Hubbard with the philosophy and the technology he developed to free man from the shackles of his mind.

According to Lafayette Ron Hubbard, "The combined truths of fifty thousand years of thinking men, distilled and amplified by new discoveries about man, have made for this success."

We welcome you to the IFA We would like your help in achieving our aims and helping others and we hope to be able to help you in return.

The original working technology of Lafayette Ron Hubbard is the most vital movement on Earth today. In a troubled world, the job of promoting and applying this technology is not easy. But then, if it were, we wouldn't have to be doing it.

The IFA does not owe its help not having done anything to caused it to propitiate. We are here because we want to be here and we want to assist Ron in his aims.

    As Ron says:

"Man suspects all offers of help. He has often been betrayed, his confidence shattered. Too frequently he has given his trust and been betrayed. We may err, for we build a world with broken straws. But we will never betray your faith in us so long as you are one of us.

The sun never sets on Scientology.

And may a new day dawn for you, for those you love and for man.

Our aims are simple, if great.

And we will succeed, and are succeeding at each new revolution of the Earth.

Your help is acceptable to us.

    Our help is yours."

Here is some great news from Europe just to hand

    ---------

    Dear Friends

    CHANNEL 4

There are some interesting recent events I would like to keep you informed about.

At the end of January there was meeting near London to present Ron's Org to the Free Zone Scientology community in the UK. About 25 people were present. It was a big success and it started to get the Rons orgs UK out of non-existance.

A few weeks later we were contacted by Channel 4. Channel 4 is a TV station in the UK which has a policy to show a certain number of religious programs. In line with that policy they are making three films: one about Hinduism, one about Islam and one about Scientology, each one lasting one hour.

They want to portray each religion by filming a person having their first contact with it and then going on to becoming a follower of the religion. There has been no problem doing so with Hinduism and Islam, but you can imagine that some difficulties have arisen with Scientology!

Simon, the producer, initially contacted Saint Hill; as most of you know, LRH stayed there for a number of years and there he did some of his most interesting and important research. The staff of Saint Hill were enthusiastic about the project and wanted to support him. Then he was sent to Los Angeles, where he explained the project there. He traveled twice to LA and finally, after five months, the church declined to continue, stating "there is a strict policy not to have anything filmed inside the church".

By their own policy, Channel 4 has to make religious films - so they could not simply give up that project. So Simon started to search around on the internet, found the Free Zone, and finally, through some vias, he contacted myself.

To be honest, I was a bit skeptical at first. I have seen so many derogatory films and reports about Scientology that it took some time for Simon to convince us that this film would be different. (Knock on wood... I have not seen the film yet!) Simon and I had quite a number of conversations through e-mails and phone calls, and finally he met us here in Bern and we started to believe him. All that was quite intensive because he was a long way behind target and should have started his filming long ago.

Then, after four weeks he started to film. They filmed first in Saint Hill, but only outside as they were not permitted to film inside. Some guards of the church were not amused by that and wanted to force Simon to give up his tapes. Simon was able to refuse, as he was filming on public ground.

Then they came to Bern - our org - and filmed and interviewed a lot of people who were on course or receiving auditing.

Next day we flew to Russia, and Simon went to Munich and filmed there about discrimination against Scientology. On Sunday they arrived in the Russian Training Camp where Hardeep Singh Kohli started the HQS, and Dominic O'Brien was his supervisor and twin. It was a good time. Hardeep liked what he studied, had a lot of fun and at one point said to me he has to bring these materials to his children! They had with them a Russian translator - Galina, a non-Scientologist - and towards the end of their stay she had a session which Simon filmed. Galina told me that if that had happened to her some years ago she would have instantly become a staff member in an org and given up the life she had.

Back in England, Dominic audited Hardeep and it went really well!

I must mention that before all of this, Simon filmed and interviewed a professor in religion to ask him if he considered Scientology to be a religion or not. He fully acknowledged that fact that Scientology is a religion. I don't know a lot about this interview yet, but this is certainly something I'm looking forward to seeing.

After the film crew departed we had some quiet times, until the Thursday before we left. Shortly before lunch the FSB (former KGB) arrived and were looking for drugs and dealers! What a surprise! As fast as they appeared they left the camp.

Obviously that was a church attack and due to the information we got from the FSB we were able to trace where it came from. It was obvious that we had an spy in the camp and we could also figure out who it was. We sec checked him and finally he confessed.

The main reason why he was in the camp was that the OSA is obviously horrified that Channel 4 made the film with us and they wanted to prevent it - but as usual, they were too late. Imagine, when this film is broadcast, that Ron's Org - and the possibility that you can do the Bridge outside of the church - are then both broadly known! No more chance to unmock us any more.

A few days after the camp Simon wrote to me that he was getting phone calls from US Scientologists claiming how badly they have been harmed by the RO!

And something I almost forgot... Erica and I got SP declared. Finally, after 23 years we managed it to convince the International Justice Chief that we are dangerous enough to deserve it. Three Cheers!

As soon as I know when the film is to be shown, I will let you know. To the very end of this letter you find short letter from Herminia from Poland.

I also would like to announce again that we have the convention on 26 and 27 August in Switzerland. You can find details on www.ronsorg.com/en/news.html. You can send me an e-mail, and your enrollment is definite as soon as you have paid for it.

    - Additional to hand!

Another news is that two days ago we gave an interview to Newsweek Magazine about Scientology.

The reporter seemed to be quite objective about the whole topic and got very interested in it.

He was quite well prepared when he came to us. He had already contacted some people in The USA, GB and also in Warsaw - all from the church of Scientology. He got our tel. No from people from Warsaw who some years ago participated in comm course in Olsztyn when Melinda was here. They did some translations for the church in Warsaw, but I think they were quite disappointed with what they got in exchange.

Anyway, after the interview the reporter said that it's good that there's free zone because it seems to be ' healthy stream' of Scientology in comparison to the church.

The interview is going to be released in the next issue. I don't know the contents yet. Tomorrow another reporter will come to take some pictures with us and they let it go for printing on Friday.

Church of Scientology(tm) forces tribute site down

The Church of Scientology(tm) gave an ISP 2 hours to remove the a site offering a tribute to Mary Sue Hubbard, deceased wife of the former Founder of Scientology.

In a churlish and small minded move the Religious Technology Centre, that arm of the private company that owns all the trademarks of scientology, has decided that there will be no more tributes to the honored wife of L. Ron Hubbard.

Mary Sue Hubbard played a major part in L. Ron Hubbard's life, assisting him in building the church, even down to choosing the name for the church. Working with him in the research that resulted in the philosophy of scientology. After he died Mary Sue was forced to leave and, in an Orwellian swoop, all mention of her and her contributions were erased from the written records of the church. Even her lifetime membership in the International Association of Scientologists was removed.

The International Freezone Association of scientologists (IFA) felt that a tribute should be posted up about Mary Sue and this tribute at marysuehubbard.com was visited by thousands of people who wished to silently remember a great woman who gave of herself to support her husbands cause.

"We will certainly not forget Mary Sue and her contribution to scientology even if the church want to", said Michael, President of the IFA, "I think it is in very poor taste to demand the removal of a tribute to someone who died not so long ago and I doubt if L Ron Hubbard would approve." He went on, " Seems to me the church is not a religion for spiritual development anymore. Looks more to me like a money making machine now."

The IFA president stated they will be looking at ways to reinstate the tribute to Mary Sue so expect it to be up again sometime soon!

The New Face of the Church of Scientology

The Church of Scientology has a special department call the Department of Special Affairs known popularly as osa.

Allegedly sending in spies to independent scientology groups to cause disruption, slandering innocent scientologists by spreading false rumors about them to their bosses in an attempt to get them fired and maybe even issuing spam and other internet ’goodies’.

Is this the new face of Tom Cruise's favorite religion?

"The Church of Scientology was an expanding religion when Ron Hubbard was alive. Since his demise, however, the church seems to be steadily shrinking and the new management regime possibly blames this on the independent groups who are expanding at a rapid rate." Stated Michael of the International Freezone Association, a group of independent scientologists.

Church of Scientology Strikes a Blow to Freedom!

The business end of the Church of Scientology, the Religious Technology Center (RTC), has recently launch a broadside on the freedom to practice one’s one religion in the name of copyright.

The International Freezone Association put up a informational website called scientologistsfreezone.com in which detailed information demonstrating the differences between the ‘official’ church and the Freezone were outlined. Also detailed are some activities the church engage in called the Rehabilitation Project Force (RPF), a way of utilizing labor at a minimal cost , and the cost of human suffering this has had on the members in the RPF.

The Church’s legal representatives, Moxon & Kobrin have issued a complaint to Whosis, the organization that administers domain names around the planet, that the scientologistsfreezone.com have infringed their copyright with a picture of L. Ron Hubbard and by using the name scientologists in the domain name.

Apart from the fact that the word scientologists is not a trademark or copyright word by the RTC, the Association claims that the word is descriptive of a person entitled to call themselves a Scientologist just as much as a Catholic is entitled to call themselves a Catholic or a Muslim is entitles to call themselves a Muslim.

In fact the Dianetics and Scientology Technical Dictionary, by L. Ron Hubbard. defines a scientologist in 4 definitions as:

    1. one who betters the conditions of himself and the conditions of others by using Scientology technology. 2. one who controls persons, environments and situations. A Scientologist operates within the boundaries of the Auditor's Code and the Code of a Scientologist. 3. one who understands life. His technical skill is devoted to the resolution of the problems of life. 4. a specialist in spiritual and human affairs.

“It is a poor commentary on a group that purports to expound religious freedom, that they are prepared to accuse of copyright and trademark infringement as a means to suppress religious freedom simply because they believe they have a monopoly on religious freedom.” Said Michael, President of the International Freezone Association.

He went on, “As well as the above the complaint accuses the web site of selling scientology services. Clearly erroneous as this is an informational site only and no services or products are sold and there is no provision to sell any products or services.”

Interestingly it seems that the Church of Scientology International itself is not above registering the name scientologyfreezone.com, evidently to stop others from registering the name. This seems to indicate they are more concerned with the pecuniary interest gained from copyright and trademark protection, than they are in protecting religious freedom. And judging from the information on the scientologistsfreezone.com website under RPF, one can see why.

L Ron Hubbard, Scientology & the Freezone

The International Freezone Association (IFA) of Scientologists today announced the launch of a new website.

The L Ron Hubbard Tribute Site!

The L Ron Hubbard Tribute Site is designed so that scientologists in the freezone can lodge their own personal tribute to L. Ron Hubbard.

"As Scientologists in the Freezone are unrecognised by the `official' Church of Scientology(tm) and are denied lodging their personal tribute with the church, we felt there was a need for the Scientology Freezoner to be free to pay their respects to L. Ron Hubbard for the work he has done." said a spokesperson for the IFA. "Scientologists in the field have the right to express their appreciation and respects to Ron and this is the place they can do so."

The website lists what is the first of many tributes flooding in and will contain special quotes by L Ron Hubbard, personal success stories, applying the philosophy he developed, and some anecdotes about Ron generally not seen else where.

As the site grows, special pages will be set up with more fascinating information about this prolific writer and developer of the working philosophy that has helped so many thousands of people.

The invitation is open for anyone who would like to express their respect to L Ron Hubbard to go to the site and submit a tribute.

    The Expansion of the IFA

Since its launch 14 months ago, the IFA (International Freezone Association) has continued to flourish, prosper and expand!

In fact the associations commitment to preserving and promoting the working philosophy of Lafayette Ron Hubbard has demonstrated its success by the expansion of the association with more members and an ever increasing flow of people to the Freezone from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds around the planet from the US to Australia and from the UK to Greece and many other corners of the globe.

"We are pioneering the freedom of Ron's Philosophy and discoveries about life. There are many people in the IFA and the Freezone providing the activities necessary for people to advance up the spiritual ladder. This is no mean feat when you consider they are working with little support and money." said Michael, the President of the IFA.

"A Freezoner scientologist is a breed apart. They may have originate from the Church as disaffected church parishioners or staff members, or have been thrown out for some real or ill perceived wrong." He went on, " They might be new people who have come across the philosophy in one way or another but have had no contact with the CofS."

The IFA and its members are actually a very strong group since it is a purpose and agreement that holds it together. The sense of ethics and responsibility is high and where a person or a group is being responsible on their own cognizance and in agreement with others of the same ilk then you have an immensely powerful and secure group!

Among the many facilities and tools offered by the IFA on the website are:

An auditor list to help you find an auditor in your area. Information on the philosophy including where to get books and materials on the subject as well as a download section where you can get a free booklet on the Freezone as well as past issues of the FREE THETA, the quarterly journal of the IFA.

Real live success stories that demonstrate that Ron Hubbard's philosophy is alive and well in the Freezone and helping to change peoples lives for the better!

A list of Technical Services offered for auditors and practitioners in the field.

A Definitions list. A Frequently Asked Questions and a Feedback Page for any queries for those queries not covered by the website.

There are well deserved Tributes to the Founder Ron Hubbard and a link to a tribute website for his wife Mary Sue Hubbard who contributed so much to scientology in the early days (more below).

Useful information and tools such as a Currency Converter, information on Web Security, a Free Word Lister and much more.

As well as an increasing number of facilities and tools for the protestant scientologist on the home web site, there is also a quarterly journal of the IFA. The FREE THETA, with fascinating historical and interesting articles, information and a communication line for those out in the theta wilderness.

Plans are being formulated to increase the facilities on the web site to provide further comprehensive services for all those in the Freezone including assistance for people who are far away from anyone, to help them enhance and improve their own spiritual advancement. Due to many requests we will be increasing the number of issues of the FREE THETA next year with even more fascinating articles and information to keep people in touch!

A proper acknowledgement of Mary Sue Hubbard has been established by a tribute web site http://marysuehubbard.com and here her contributions to Ron and the establishment of scientology are acknowledged as well as verification of her death two years ago in Los Angeles US.

A Tribute to Mary Sue Hubbard!

The Tribute to Mary Sue Hubbard has been given it's own web site. The link from the IFA site has been updated to reflect this.

Marty Sue Hubbard was a staunch supporter and assistant to Ron in his research and played a major part in the development of Scientology as well as being a fine wife and mother.

She deserves at the minimum an acknowledgement of her contribution to the spiritual salvation of mankind.

    The Freezone Does it Again!

Talk about a success story ... here is an unsolicited letter
recently received by our Class XII Quality Officer at the
    International Freezone Association.

“My wife and I both live in ..., South America, where, for the
last 10 years, we have been running a clinic specializing in the
therapy and treatment of Autistic children.

We have been reading carefully your articles* on the subject of Autism
and I wished to write telling you how helpful you have been to all of us.

We are currently working with 50 Autistic children and, thanks to your
explanations and advices on how to apply on Autistic children the
techniques that you state were originally developed by L. Ron Hubbard,
we have seen a very noticeable improvement in the majority of cases we
are working with since we are applying your recommended approach.
So much in fact that officials from the Ministry of Health from the
Capital have recently visited us and showed great interest in studying
    further your recommended methods...
I am sure I speak for both our Clinic and the families of the dozens
of children who have been helped when I express you our deepest thanks
    and gratitude.”

Pierre stated, "This shows the effectiveness of Ron's working
philosophy being used in the Freezone to ordinary people." He went on.
"Correctly and intelligently applied, the technology developed by
Lafayette Ron Hubbard can produce some remarkable and life changing
    results".

    Ethics, FDS and Debug

After she posted her clients last success story I
asked Diana for her successful action in the area
of ethics, FDS and debug. This is what she said.

I particularly wanted to say more on this as one
way the COS likes to dead agent the Freezone,is to
say we don't use ethics tech.
    bb

Diana is an IFA registered Class 8 auditor and C/S.

    Hi BB,

A long time ago I did an Admin Scale as an auditor
and I decided my hat was to crack cases, and I did
a lot of research on what were the successful actions
and learned them. Ron says that for Tech to go in,
Ethics has to be in first and I found that most cases
were not resolved due to out-ethics in some area that
was never handled or incorrectly handled, and it was
    badly stalling a case.

Most people has charge because ethics exists ever
since man exists and there has been so many
betrayals in the application of ethics and justice
throughout history that sometimes it gets a bad
connotation, yet man wants to be ethical.

Ron also says, in 'Ethics, Justice and the Dynamics',
that ethics is survival therefore if one is not
surviving in an area, that means something is out,
obviously. So ethics is not only used because "you'd
been a bad person" it is also used to straighten out
your life, so that you can survive better and expand
    in you dynamics.

Every PC should be above Non- E on the dynamics in
order to have wins in his auditing. If you look at
the table; above Non-E is survival, below Non-E is
non survival, it's succumb, it is basically out of
valence, Ron says "a person whose ethics ethics have
been out for a long period goes out of valence. They
are not themselves". HCOPL 3 May 72.

Many of the PCs I get come to me as a last resort
because they have been mishandled at an Org either
by the C/S or the MAA. Ethics is one of my favorite
subjects because prior to Scientology, I went to the
University to study Law for 4 years before I became
    an auditor.

I also do a very thorough interview before I start a
PC on a program and that is a good way to find
things that need to be handled with ethics. I think
a PC should not start the OT levels until he's in
the condition of Normal on the 1st 3rd Dynamics in
    order to really go OT.

Life is not perfect but if one applies the Ethics
Tech one can survive better, no?

I also like using False Data Stripping because it
truly unbogs a case, there are many tools that can
    be used besides the Conditions.

One more tip; clear the word habit in the Tech
Dictionary so that you can see what Ron really wants
you to by pass when you do the Danger formula.

    Stop Press

The International Freezone Association is continuing to expand and demonstrate commitment to the purposes of the IFA. These Three Prime Purposes can be summed up in the motto,

    PRESERVE, PROTECT & PROMOTE

the working technology of Lafayette Ron Hubbard.
    IFA Purposes

As part of that commitment to ensuring Ron's Technology is preserved and applied standardly in the Freezone and beyond, the International Freezone Association is very happy to announce that we now have a Class XII Quality Officer (equiv. to Qual Sec) on the org board.
    IFA Org Board

Pierre, a Class XII Auditor and C/S, has audited many thousands of flubless hours prior to leaving Flag. For further information on Pierre go to Pierre's site

The IFA, although not a delivery organisation but an association of free beings, offers vital quality products for the enhancement of technical delivery within the freezone.

    Such products for example as:

Programming: Setting out the correct sequence of steps that a Preclear must take to progress to spiritual freedom.
FESing: A thorough study of the PC's folders to locate any errors.
Flub Catch: A FES, including standard repair and advance programs, with correction of any errors made by the auditors and C/Ses.
Quality Assurance: Monitoring the activities of auditors to ensure the standard of delivery remains high. This is accomplished through tape and video critiques of TRs and metering, as well as folder reviews and flub catches.
Ethics Programs: A sequence of steps to help a PC handle life situations that may be blocking their progress to spiritual freedom.
Go to IFA Services for a full resume of services available.

This support is available for PCs, Auditors groups and organizations. The IFA Technical team is now composed of 2 Class VIIIs and a Class XII. Members also include Class IVs, Vs and VIs. The IFA now has probably the highest level of qualified technical expertise in the Freezone and we have only just started!

Admin wise we also have OEC and FEBC, DSEC graduates on the team.

Although this is another great step for the IFA it is an especially important step for the Freezone as a whole and, in fact, for the rest of the planet as it is a step closer to ensuring that the technology is indeed preserved for all time, protected from alteris and non standard application and promoted broadly to ensure it is known and well received by mankind in general.

    Press Release

    Byline:

    Independent scientologists stake their claim!

    August 2004

Independent scientologists have received an unexpected bonus with the launch of the International Freezone Association (IFA) recently. The IFA is an association of individuals, auditors and groups who believe they have the right to freely practice the original philosophy of Lafayette Ron Hubbard.

Michael, the founder of the IFA stated, “We believe that, since the death of the founder of the movement, the Church of Scientology™ has strayed from the original philosophy and purpose which Hubbard intended. Our group is a sort of renaissance you might say back to the original workable philosophy.".

As the members of the IFA do not wish to participate in the practice of an altered philosophy they have elected to practice their chosen philosophy independently of the 'official' organisation or church.” Michael continued, “Ron Hubbard once said, ‘I know no man who has any monopoly upon the wisdom of this universe. It belongs to those who can use it to help themselves and others.’”

And the IFA is truly demonstrating this. They are enlisting new members at a rapid pace world wide, including long time experienced practitioners disenchanted with the church, to ensure that the original technology is preserved in the face of what they claim is radical changes in the philosophy and its application since the founders death. The IFA believes that the Church is now only interested in money and has lost the original purpose for which Hubbard set up the church.

The IFA is determined that the original philosophy is not lost but preserved and made available not just for the rich and wealthy but also for ordinary people without exorbident prices putting it out of reach.

The IFA can be seen at and offers, among other services and facilities, a free booklet for download that gives a solid understanding of the scientology freezone, the independent arena outside the ‘official’ church.

    The Future of Scientology™

I have been thinking lately about the future of Scientology™. Where will it be in ten or fifteen year's time? At one point the only question I had was; how long would it be before the planet was cleared? 10, 20 50 years? Longer? LRH had developed Scientology™ and set up the Church to a point where it could not fail, or so it seemed. The Philosophy and Technology Ron developed to free man was there. The organisation and third dynamic technology to keep it on track was also there. All was well for a while. Attacks were being handled. Scientology™ was expanding and making good inroads into society. Clears and OTs were being made. But an unexpected change developed. When Lafayette Ron Hubbard departed, a crossroads was formed with two clearly divergent paths leading into the future. The scenario had changed.

On the one hand we have the path of the Church of Scientology™. There is ample evidence to show that the church appears hell bent on changing the face of Scientology™ from an effective tool for spiritual freedom to an ineffective parody of the true path. Sudden and gradual changes to the original technology. Redefining LRH definitions. Deleting section from tapes and written materials. Rewriting the original written materials. Hiding the original written materials. Extending the training requirements beyond a reasonable level creating an impossible level of achievement required before simple actions can be done. Escalating the amount charged for services beyond the level that most of the population can afford. This is the path of no product. Of no spirituality and of no win.

On the other we have a widespread and multi-independent crew of faithful to the technology individuals, battling it out in the boondocks so to speak. Keeping the technology active, alive and in use despite efforts by the 'official carrier' to stop it's use not only inside the church but outside as well. This group is composed of individuals and groups of individuals, many of whom have become disenchanted with the path of the mother church and broken away to persue their spiritual freedom anyway they can with the original technology they have available. Although they are, for the most part, independent individuals, they still have that common agreement as to the value and effectiveness of the philosophy Ron Hubbard developed. They are collectively called The Freezone. A name that tends to stick in the craw of the Executives that run the official church as, by implication the church is not a free zone but has demonstrated to be the opposite.

In view of the above I also find myself wondering if this was actually the first time that such an attempt to dig us out of the mire or the last of several. And if Ron is off somewhere setting up another portal to freedom on some distant planet on the basis that it would be folly to set up the one and only portal here on this, the outskirts of this galaxy and rely upon it's guardians to keep it safe. Is this the ONLY chance available to get out of the morass and back to freedom I wonder? Or is there another? And if there were, would we be complacent if told that? Hence we were not? In other words, if you have the only solution to life and the universe, would you simply post that once on a discussion list and leave it at that or would you spread the word as far and as wide as you can with the thought in mind that only a few seeds will take root and most of them will quite likely never fully germinate?

As we are unable to establish to what extent, if ever, LRH disseminated his technology throughout the universe we must, for the sake of all within this universe, act on the premise that we are the chosen few, if you like. Is this the only seed LRH planted? Can we afford to consider it so? I, for one, am not game to take that chance.

And this increases the vital importance of success immeasurably.

As such the Church is now diverging off the main purpose and deteriorating down the Motivation Scale (the Scale of Motivation from the highest to the lowest is Duty, Personal Conviction, Personal Gain, Money. - HCO PL 11 Nov 1969). At one point they were high (by the continuing presence and activities of LRH I believe) up the scales to a level of purpose, responsibility, the motivation of duty and a tone level of action. Now they have appeared to have changed their purpose from expansion to stopping, dropped their responsibility to a level of blame, the motivation of money and a tone level approaching fear. This indicates that the future of Scientology no longer lies with the mother church. In short it has fallen down on the job and all indications are that it has been very professionally and smoothly taken over by forces antipathetic to the cause.

    Where does that leave us?

Well that leaves us with the other path that has emerged out of the wilderness. The path that is popularly known as the Freezone. This then begs the question. Where will the Freezone be in ten or fifteen year's time? And where will the planet be also? Just auditing a bit here, keeping one's head down and being isolated is not going to clear the planet. In fact the survival rate of such individualism is poor at best. Where will all the current trained auditors be in fifty years time? All the Class VIs, VIII and XIIs? Who is going to train the next batch? Will the Freezone simply run out of steam? If so who will replace them? The future is not just immediate. It is long term. (Fifty years is a spit in the ocean) Our future is determined by what we do now. What will we come back to?

If the Freezone peters out in a just a few short years and the C of S, having been taken over and quite possible barred to normal people, is available only to vested interests. How will the next generation of Clears and OTs be made?

Ron created an organisation to ensure persistence and as a support mechanism for the technology. It was not done just as something to do or because it was 'nice'. That organisation has now been taken over it would seem. It was subject to the regulatory factors of law and that was used to undermine it. The structure of the organisation is quite valid however and the third dynamic technology which Ron developed is extremely valuable. Currently only the intention and ownership of the C of S is in question.

So to ensure a persistence of the technology an organisation is vital and if the C of S is not going to come to the party then another method must be used to create that stability needed to ensure the technology is preserved and protected.

This is why the International Freezone Association (IFA) has been formed. It was formed as an association rather than a corporation or a religion for the following reasons:

It cannot be taken over by 'vested interests'.
    It is Non Profit motivated.
Is an association of individuals formed by a common agreement to follow a specific purpose.
The members are not responsible for the Association and the Association is not responsible for the members.
The members can share benefits, by virtual of the common agreement, they would otherwise not be able to participate in such as:

    Assistance in legal matters
    Reduced costs for services
Access to information not normally available to the individual
The collective generation of revenue for the expansion of the Freezone
A group to which one can belong and participate in an on purpose level of communication, affinity and reality.

Although the International Freezone Association offers some technical services it is not a delivery organisation. That is left up to the members. But the concept is that the members have a support mechanism, an umbrella if you will within which they can operate. A Cyber Org is one way it has been described. But as the IFA is not a delivery organisation there are no stops or hindrances to the members on their practice or delivery of the technology. There are no high prices to over come. The IFA is only concerned with the adherence to the basic technology LRH developed and so there is no gradual alteris of the technology. There is no technical research to 'develop' new technology and there is no attempt to infringe the rights of the individual to exercise their right to practice the philosophy of their choice. The IFA constitution has made it impossible for anyone to control its members. If a governmental body forcibly took over the IFA, for example, the members would simply leave. Without a membership the IFA is nothing. That governmental body would then own an empty shell. The members would simply form a new association. The IFA does not control its members. It supports them.

In short the International Freezone Association offers a future for the Freezone by presenting to the individual a structured organisation that enhances, not limits, protects, not attacks the individual auditor and preclear. An organisation that, in effect, bypasses and replaces the C of S in a very positive, dramatic and unique way.

    Technical Services Board

The International Freezone Association is now offering Standard Technical Services to serious practitioners of Lafayette Ron Hubbard's Working Standard Technology.

This falls under the purpose of the IFA to:

Preserve, protect and promote the exact technology and original workable philosophy of Lafayette Ron Hubbard for future use so it is available for all mankind.

So as well as providing the benefit of a Communication Line for pcs to locate auditors they can feel safe with and who they know will apply LRH original technology to their case. The benefit of a legal support system for individual, auditor and groups members subject to unwarranted attacks and hassles. And the knowledge that, despite what any other groups or church does, the technology is STILL being preserved and available.

The International Freezone Association now provides the following services:

These services and more are now available from the International Freezone Association by a team of Class 6 and class 8 auditors and C/Ses experienced in Lafayette Ron Hubbard's Workable Standard Technology, Administration and Ethics Programs.

This is just the next step in a long line of services and facilities to be provided by the IFA as part of the goal of expanding the Freezone across the planet.

    What of the future?

Work is currently being done to provide the next service facility and benefit of being a member of the International Freezone Association. A comprehensive Lafayette Ron Hubbard Reference Library with access to all of Lafayette Ron Hubbard's source materials as part of the preservation and promotion of the technology complete with a search facility specifically designed for Auditors and PCs. This will be a free service for members only.

Further benefits and services are being envisioned also.

I recommend you participate and become a member today and support the cause for a free Freezone and the continued availability of the technology of Lafayette Ron Hubbard.

The Most Valuable People in the World

Lafayette Ron Hubbard said that Auditors were the most valuable people in the world. Of course he was right. But the most valuable of all the auditors in the planet must be those battling it out in the field. Alone with sparse technical and administrative support, relying valiantly on their own mettle and the Cof S looming in the shadows waiting to pounce for any infringement of their perceived monopoly with the weapon of copyright.

What does an Auditor need out there carrying the Flag for Rons Tech? An Auditor needs support. An Auditor needs and deserves the sort of support the most valuable beings in the world should have! C/S support. Admin support. Someone there to provide succor. Someone guarding their door to freedom while they are busy helping someone else with theirs. Someone to help them stay on the straight and narrow path of LRH standard technology with all the right references and guidance whilst surrounded by the aberrations of the planet.

And what about the PC? Where would an auditor be without a PC in front of him? And how can a PC find an auditor not 1000 miles away but within reach and who actually uses LRH Technology and not some strange alter-is of the tech designed to produce startling effects and no lasting substance? When a PC has just been thrust out of the C of S door and had it slammed shut behind him and he is left apparently looking at a spiritual desert. Where does he go? What does he do? How can he continue up the bridge?

The International Freezone Association is a non profit association specifically set up and designed to provide for it's members:

A Technical Support Centre for Auditors and PCs in the field including:

    C/Sing,
    Programming,
    Flub Catch,
    Case Review,
    Programming,
    Quality Assurance
Upgrading through Tape, Video and many other services.

A comprehensive LRH reference section as part of preserving and promoting the technology complete with a search facility especially designed for Auditors and PCs.

An aggressive marketing support structure set up including surveys, Advertising, Press Release and News Stories, Listings on Search engines, Banner advertising and more specifically to provide new pcs for auditors.

A Communication Line for pcs to locate auditors they can feel safe with and who they know will apply LRH original technology to their case.

A legal support system for individuals, auditors and groups members subject to unwarranted attacks and hassles.

The knowledge that, despite what any other groups or church does, the technology is still being preserved and available.

Do you see the benefits of these?

The IFA has been constructed with the foresight in mind to predict possible issues that face the Freezone in the future and that can also face their members. This is why there is such an extensive Constitution. An exacting Terms of Use and a carefully thought out Dispute Resolution Process. Where else can you find the predictability offered by the use of these services? Many hundreds of hours went into the construction of the association with lots of discussion of, "What ifs?" and "How do we handle this issue if it arises?" It may have been originated by one person but many experienced Scientologists participated and contributed. Experienced Class VIs and Class VIIIs. People with many years of LRH administrative experience. All made serious contributions to the IFA format, working it over, picking holes, finding and indicating flaws and tweaking it until it fit the criteria as outlined in the purposes of preserving, protecting and promoting the original technology of Ron.
It is no coincidence that the web site is 'green on white', and has a picture of Ron on the front! The IFA is dedicated to Rons Original Technology. To its preservation, it's protection and its promotion.

Each member, although a member of the association, is still an individual. There is no intrusion into a member's life or any dictatorial approach as to how one should live or be. The only criterion is "Has the member agreed to the Constitution and Terms of Service?" If so that person can become a member. There is no, "we don't like you because of this or that", no holding one's past against one. No wog or Cof S attitudes of cut comm lines, exclusions or stops on the lines. Our interest is in the future, and in pursuing our purposes as packaged in our motto, "Preserve, Protect & Promote".

Our aim is to keep the technology sound and being applied and to be able to support and offer succor to those who apply it.

I feel sure that most of you would agree this is a fine goal to have.
